The Society of Advocates in Aberdeen, an organisation with over 500 years heritage, has launched its first website.
"The website is part of the Society’s attempts to move into the 21st Century," the organisation said in a statement.
"Since its conception in the 15th Century the Society has existed to bring together solicitors from the various firms around Aberdeen, whether for social events, training opportunities, or just to use the library. The website aims to support these activities, whilst increasing awareness of the Society."
In addition to detailing the history of the organisation and providing practical details, it also posts details of forthcoming events, which include the Annual Quiz Night in the Society's Library taking place on 25th September, Lyon and Turnbull Antiques Evening on 21st October, and a "Let's Go Italian" evening on12th November.
