Nat Fraser Abandons Sentence Appeal

Nat Fraser, convicted of the murder of his wife Arlene, has abandoned his appeal against his life sentence.

Fraser, whose appeal against conviction was rejected last month, was scheduled to appear at the High Court on Friday to contest his life sentence.  It has been recommended that he serve a minimum of 25 years before being considered for release on licence.

This appeal will now not proceed.  No reason has been given for the late forfeiture.
